Every client receives a detailed itinerary setting out the places they will visit and the sights they can expect, so there are no surprises. We provide the safari services agreed with each client, except when unforeseen events interfere—road closures, poor weather, operational issues, or security concerns. In those situations, Bueno Safaris may adjust the itinerary as it sees fit, will keep clients informed, and will arrange alternatives where circumstances allow. We will always make reasonable efforts to preserve the quality and character of the original plan.
Clients should understand that conditions inside Tanzania differ from those in more developed countries. We may also face sudden, unannounced changes to government-regulated fees and taxes, for example national park fees. Bueno Safaris reserves the right to pass these charges on to its customers.
We confirm and guarantee the following:
Once a client confirms a booking, we issue an invoice with all the relevant details. To secure the reservation, we ask for a 50% deposit on the itinerary price, plus full payment in advance for airline tickets.
If you change your travel dates after payment, you must tell us at least 60 days before the original start date of your tour. Please also remember that any new dates you propose must fall within one year of your original travel dates
Please note too that Tanzanian domestic airlines do not reschedule flights, and hotels and lodges frequently charge penalties for date changes or quote higher rates depending on season and availability. Where that happens, you will be asked to cover the extra costs.
Once your booking is confirmed, the price will not change—unless the Tanzanian government raises park fees, taxes, or other tourism charges, which is unlikely. If that happens, we will share a copy of the relevant official notice with you without delay, and you will be offered two choices:
If you cancel your trip, the following cancellation fees apply:
All cancellation penalties are calculated on the total tour price.
Whatever the timing, you will also need to cover our non-refundable or partially refundable costs, such as hotel reservations and domestic air tickets. Before any refund is issued, we will deduct those expenses plus transfer costs (banking charges and credit card surcharges) from what you have paid us.
Once a booking is confirmed, if you want to alter your itinerary or start earlier than planned, we will try to accommodate you based on availability. A change fee of US$150 applies.
All prices shown by Bueno Safaris are per person, based on two people travelling together unless otherwise stated, and quoted in US dollars (US$). The cost of obtaining passports or visas, border taxes (where they apply), tips for guides, drivers and hotel staff, insurance, optional excursions, and personal expenses are not included in the itinerary price, nor are reduced child rates or peak-season supplements. Website prices are guidance only, and Bueno Safaris cannot be held responsible for pricing changes or errors. All final costs are set out on our invoices, and quotations are valid for two weeks
It is each guest's responsibility to ensure their passport and visa are valid for the countries they will visit. Most nationalities can obtain a tourist visa on arrival at Tanzania's borders and airports (US$50 per person, and US$100 for US citizens), valid for three months; you may also apply for a visa in advance at the Tanzanian embassy in your home country. Please check the visa rules before travelling, and remember that passports must be valid for at least six months after the final day of travel. Bueno Safaris cannot be held liable for visas not obtained by guests, nor for the cost of visas
You understand that travelling with us may take you to remote places, such as national parks and rural areas, where medical assistance may differ from the standards in your home country or may not be available at all.
You also acknowledge that some of our adventures carry risks to your health and safety, including contact with wildlife and high-altitude conditions. You confirm that you have weighed all of these risks carefully and accept full responsibility for them.
You release us from all claims and causes of action arising from any losses, damages, injuries, or death that result from the risks inherent in travelling through Tanzania.
We are not responsible for luggage that is lost, damaged, or delayed by airlines or by any transport provider other than our own company.
We accept no liability for incidents caused by force majeure, including but not limited to natural disasters, war or military operations, mechanical failure, fire, vehicle or electrical breakdowns, civil unrest, labour strikes, actions of government authorities, political upheaval, insurrection, extreme weather, and other events beyond our reasonable control that we could not have anticipated.
Any disputes shall be governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania.
